Dear Donna Death,

We as a couple are writing to ask your advice about one of the oldest of romantic problems: interfaith marriage. You see, one family belongs to the Esoteric Order of Dagon, and has for many generations. The other belongs to the Starry Wisdom Sect --- Dad and Uncle are deacons, in fact. If either of us converted, it would hurt one of the families terribly. If it were anything so simple as a blasphemous inter-species mating we'd have no problem; in fact, our folks would be all for it. But as it is, even groups like Miscegenation Encounter want no part of us. What can we do?

Star-stone-crossed Lovers

Dear Crossed Lovers,

Your families can obviously never condone unholy matrimony because of their ideological differences. Rather than a conversion on either side or an uninspiring civil ceremony, living in sin seems a delightful alternative.
