Bert
Atsma --- A mild-mannered scientific technical writer
by day, Bert sometimes lets loose with free-lance articles, many of which deal
with the current "creation vs. evolution" controversy. (He holds the
M.S. in Biology from Montclair State College.) He also plays piano and reads
science-fiction, and has recently cloned himself in order to find time for all
of this.
Donald R.
Burleson --- Before his mysterious disappearance, Don
taught math at Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire. He has written several
math textbooks, but his first love is (was?) Lovecraft. His articles on HPL have
appeared in Lovecraft Studies, Extrapolation, and The Romantist.
His story "The Last Supper" appeared in Eldritch Tales. A book
of his on Lovecraft will soon appear from the Greenwood Press.
Jason C.
Eckhardt --- Both this issue's cover artist and fun
guy from Yuggoth, Jason has just commenced production of a zine called The
Ultharian, which reflects his love for felines.
C. J.
Henderson --- In his house at R'lyeh, Chris has been
dreaming up a remarkable new Mythos tale that is guaranteed to be unique in its
approach.
S. T.
Joshi --- Thought by many to be the reincarnation of
Lovecraft, S. T. is a prolific writer and editor. Besides the semiannual journal
Lovecraft Studies, he has edited H. P. Lovecraft: Four Decades of
Criticism and H. P. Lovecraft: An Annotated Bibliography. His Reader's
Guide to H. P. Lovecraft will soon appear from Starmont House.
Nevil
Kingston-Brown --- A physicist currently absorbed in
research on quantum logic, Professor Kingston-Brown's work on the effect of
Thompson Procession has appeared in the Physical Review.
Robert M.
Price --- Besides writing as profusely as some people
bleed, Bob teaches religious studies at Montclair State College and Bergen
Community College. What he can't get published elsewhere he shovels into the
pages of Crypt of Cthulhu, which he just happens to edit.
Darrell
Schweitzer --- A long-time fantasy fan and critic,
Darrell has written Conan's World and The Dream Quest of H. P.
Lovecraft, both from Borgo Press, and edited Essays Lovecraftian from
T. K. Graphics.
